Kyra M. Sedgwick (born Kyra Minturn) is a famous American actor and TV host. She has a large following across America as well as around the globe for her role as an actress in the TV Series 'The Closer.' Sedgwick began to be fascinated by the art of the arts, Broadway, and acting when she turned 12 years of age. Sedgwick first heard about Broadway from her mother. Sedgwick's debut acting gig was with a TV series known as 'AnotherWorld. The show was on when she was aged 16. She was interested in becoming a major actress was what she wanted to achieve. The couple got married when she was 22. Sedgwick made a mark on American TV with her impeccable performing. The Closer, which lasted seven seasons, won numerous awards, including the Golden Globe and Emmy.
